Is Marinol Advisable For Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

I suffer severely from IBS. My physician prescribed marinol & it was the only medication that I ve tried that gave me any relief. My doctor retired & I cannot find a physician in Seattle, WA that will prescribe it. I cannot use medical marijuana & am desperate for help. Any ideas or referrals? Cathie
