Is Meningitis Related With White Spots On Finger Tips With Sores?

I have small spots under the skin on my fingertips. My fingertips have felt quite sensitive and a bit sore for a few days. I have just been diagnosed with tonsillitis and not sure if that has anything to do with it. I have googled it and scared myself into thinking it could be meningitis. Please help
