Is Meprate Advisable For Long Term Usage?

Hi, I am 43yr old lady with two kids. Four months back I have continuous bleeding for One and half months. I consult a doctor and she give opinion for Abdominal scan. that was normal with bulky uterus. she asked me for D&C. but when I consult with another doctor she told me the that endometrial thickness is less .so there is no need of D&C and she take three days a Trapic inj and meprate for one month. now she ask me to take meprate for three months continuous use without any gap. is there any risk in use of Mepreate continuously.
