Is Minoxidil Useful To Cure Both Tinea Capitis And Alopecia?

Hi , I dont know if i have a tinea capitis or alopecia . The Drs asked me to use first elocom lotion , then the another Dr asked me use dermovate ointment for 3 weeks . Now this Dr asked me to use minoxidil for 1 month and to see him .the previous 2 Drs told me that it is an alopecia , but an oral Dr told me that it is a tinea capitis . Now i ll asking you if minoxidil useful for both tinea and alopecia thanks for the answer
