Is Ondansetron Oral Solution Safe For Infants Suffering From Vomiting?

Hi My kid has been vomiting since last night and it may b cox of the food she has eaten last night..one doc has suggested ondansetron oral solution but while reading online,I got to understand that the same to be taken for nausea and vomiting caused by cancer treatment or surgery so just wanted to reconfirm of the same can be used for infants in normal vomiting cases
