Is Oxycodone As Effective As Hydrocodone?

Starting maggot therapy tomorrow for a venous stasis ulcer on my leg. Last time we did this the Rx given to me was Tramadol, which had no effect on my nerve pain caused by the little critters in my ulcer on the top of the foot. The Rx given this time is oxycodone. With hydrocodone, I have an intolerance which makes me sleepless and jittery, will oxycodone have the same affect as hydro? Are there any OTC's that I may take that will help?
