Is Prednisone And Calamine Recommended In Case Of Bug Bites?

Ok so about a month or longer ago these "bug bites" appeared. i went to my doctor and he prescribed amoxacillion, prednisone and anti-itch cream. none worked. so i tried calamine lotion and it does nothing. so far 3 weeks down the drain and these bites are appearing more often. so i tried antihistamine pills and 2 weeks with no effect. What could it be?
