Is Prothiaden Given For Headaches?

Please type your query here...I am 20 years old.female and startd experiencing headaches from this month..i had them for a week all day its dull .in the night it gets worse.i was adviced prothiaden a tricyclic antidepressant for a month..however i stopped taking it after five days coz it subsided..and i was scared antidepressants wud do harm to me..but now i m having headache again its been there for six days now..yesterday i went to another doctor who prescribed propanalol to me..but its also not workin...only my temples hurt..have no nausea..my eyes hurt..and i feel very weak..thay said i was having a tension headache..i have no family history of headaches..plz help..doc
