Is Proto Glyvenol Cream The Right Medication For Constipation?

Hello doctor, I m passing stool everyday but as im a new mother and home alone with my baby so was not able to eat properly and thats how i got constipated,, now my stool is realy very hard,, everyday i pass my stool with trouble and after passing im suffering from severe pain itchness.. My gynecologist has prescribed me proto glyvenol cream and suppositories.. Will it make my stool softer?? Even im takng duphalac at nght 20 ml...
