Is Uterine Fibroid Embolization Effective For Fibroid?

I had Uterine Fibroid Embolization sugery in May 2010, however, after my well women yearly exam yesterday I was told that the fibroid seems to be large still, so i am scheduled for an ultrasound. If it has not shrunk can another Uterine Fibroid Embolization be performed. I do not want to have a histerectomy.
