Is Vicomycin Used To Relieve The BK Virus ?Step Son

Is Vicomycin used to relieve the BK virus ?Step son is in Hospital getting it intravenously. He had a kidney transplant in 2008. Got sick two days ago and had to get him to hospital. He's totally out of his element..not looking at me or responding to anything I say or ask, sort of in la la land
