Is Zyrtec Recommended To Treat Eczema?

My daughter has been diagnosed of eczema since she was 6 moths old. Allergy tests done showed she is allergic to eggs, chicken and dustmites. Her eczema comes and go however for the last 34 moths she has been taking zyrtec for almost everyday as her rashes are almost visible evryday. Is it okay fora 7 year old child to take zyrtec for long term?
