Is A Painful Bump On Forehead A Cause For Concern?

Hi, I have a bump on my forhead, it is not noticeable unless you feel it, it hurts like a bruise but it is not colored black or blue like one. I have had this for over 6 months. I have told that I should be concerned that it might be a tumor, or something else dangerous. Do I have any reason for concern?
