Is Acanthosis Nigricans, Related With Itchy And Brown Skin Patches?

Hi doctor, i have recently got dry, itchy, brown patches of skin on my underarms. Two of them, one on my right and one on my left underarm. I don't know if I have this "acanthosis nigricans" even though i don't eat that much sugar? And i've also tried lotion, but still there. Please help me, I can't sleep at night. And it sometimes bleed when I itch it. I might see a local doctor if I don't find out soon, before i get insomnia.
