Is Acne A Normal Side Effect Caused After Stopping Nicorette Gum?

I chewed tobacco for almost 30 years, three months ago I decided it was time to quit so I bought nicorete gum and chewed it for 2-1/2 months. A total of 399 pieces. Wel I stopped that and have been chewing sugar free gum for the last 3-1/2 weeks but my face has completely broke out with acne. Is this a normal side affect from stopping that nicorete gum?
