Is Alcohol Intake Advisable While Having Elevated Liver Enzymes?

I am 49 year old male and was diagnosed with heamochromatosis with a blood ferritin level level of 1800 in 2007. Since I have had heart ultrasound and liver ultrasound and regular venesection and currently at approx 100 ferritin level. In 2013 I was diagnosed with chronic osteo arthritis and in august 2014 had a right total hip operation. The left hip was due to be done in March 2015, however 3 weeks prior to the left hip operation I was admitted to hospital with dvt in my left leg approx 350 mm long and also had pe in both arteries to my lungs and lucky to survive. During the last 8 years I have regular blood tests on bloods and have always had an elevated enzyme in the liver. My question to you doctor is when I consume alcohol would my past medical history clear my body of alcohol in the normal manner time span as it would in a person without these problems thank you.
