Is An Abdominal Hernia Belt Effective In Treatment Of Intestine Rupture?

I had radical surgery due divticulits that ruptered my intestine, there is a ten by ten opening that was covered by skin grafts. The only thing that holds my intestiene is a one sixteeth of an inch skin from the graft. It hurts when I laugh or cough. Would a hernia wrap help me?
