Is Antibiotics Needed For Food Poisoning After Spleen Removal?

ive had my spleen removed and i would like to know if i need antibiotics for food poisioning? we go abroad next week and just want to know if i have to take antibiotics if i get food poisioning while away.i also have thrush,do i need antibiotics for this?
