Is Antifungal Cream Advisable For The Discoloration Of Toe Nail Due To Infection?

My left (big) toenail shows the nail color to is becoming (white). It may be a fungas issue...don t know for sure. I recently cut my toenails and maybe the toenail cutter wasn t clean. Can I try using the following Antifungal Cream Clotrimzaole cream before seeing a professional. I just started seeing this problem. I don t wear tight fitting shoes, or do any type of running, walking marathons that would cause my foot to sweat. However, I do continue to wear my sleepers throughout the day, they are closed sleepers. I do wear sneakers with socks.
