Is Bleeding Between Periods Post Intercourse Normal?

My period was finished I had sex with my husband now it s back again and it s like it s the 1st day I m crampy etc and it s now lasted over a week is this normal? It s came back really heavy when usually it s light I m not on any birth control as I stopped using it 5 months ago. Thanks
