Is Blood Clot Discharge From Vagina A Sign Of Miscarriage?

Hey I was almost a week late for my period. I spotted for 3 days on and off, then went to the rest room to see blood clots but no blood. I only see them when I pee, could the clots be a sign of a miscarriage? They are very light with light stomach cramping, not at the bottom of my stomach, but the middle.
