Is Bone Marrow Test Required For Low WBC?

My doctor thinks I need a bone marrow test because of low white blood cell and some other blood work questions I am trying to decide whether to go or no, She said I could wait 3 months but should I decide to go she will schedule me now, I have fear of the unknown. so my question is what would you do
