Is Brown Menstrual Flow And Abdominal Sensations Normal While Using Petogen Contraception?

Why am I getting Brown menstrual ? I started using Petogen in June and supposed to be getting a renewal this month but I m experiencing some brown sometimes light red period like stuff, also some bubbles popping like feeling on the lower abdomen, is any of this normal?
