Is Clear Odorless Liquid Discharge Behind Earfold Causing Crusting Contagious?

I have a clear oder less liquid behind my ear in fold, if I pick at the crust which gets worse over night it just leaks this sticky clear fluid. I put witch hazel on it and it crusts even more, I sometimes put burts bee s diaper ointment on it which clears everything but nope,is this contagious
