Is Conceiving At The Age Of 45 Safe?

I am a single mother with a 20 year old son. I intend to re-marry anytime soon. i will be 45 years in a few months. i am 5/5 height and my weight is presently 95kg. I have been living alone with my son since my ex-husband travelled abroad 15 years ago. I decided to end the marriage and filed for divorce 3 years ago when i could no longer cope with the loneliness. Now, i want to know the possibility of conceiving again. Also, what are the likely effects of not having sex for a long time?
