Is Cycloreg Safe To Postpone Periods Without Causing Hormonal Imbalance?

My age is 26. I want to postpone my periods as i have to attend a holy place. My doctor suggessted me to take cycloreg tablet for 5 days before the date of periods. Please let me know its side effects. Also it has been recently detected that my TSH is on border level, and i might have low thyroid problems, Please let me know if cycloreg should be okay to take for 5 days. Because i dont want further hormonal imbalances disease.
