Is Dialysis On Neck Advisable For Person With Kidney Failure?

Hi am allison and my dad has kidney failer and he is in hospital for dialysis. Doc say he has an infection on his stomach from last time dialysis it got infected. Doc say they can't do dailysis b/c he can get infection in his blood stream. Now the doc have him on antibiatic. And they want to do dialysis on his neck. What is the risk. Will he still get infected if they do it there. What are our options please help.
