Is Discharge Of Blood And White Substance From The Wound Post Craniotomy A Cause For Concern?

Hello my husband had a head injury 11/10/14 he had craniotomy surgery he is at home we did a follow up with his surgeon 12/19/14 everything was fine per the dr. However today as I bathed him and dried his wound it leaked a bit of blood and white substance not a lot no smell it doesn't hurt and is not swollen. The scab piece came off should I be concerned???
