Is Discharge Of Large Blood Clots Cause For Concern In Person With PCOD?

I have PCOS and me and my husband have been trying for almost 3 years to have a baby. I started my period over 2 weeks ago and it is still very heavy and i have been seeing some rather large blood clots...some even as big as my hand. should i go to the dr and get checked or wait?
