Is Discontinuing Eltroxin Advisable If Thyroid Test Results Are Normal?

Hi, I have been eating eltroxin tablets for the last two years .. Had started with 100 mg but dropped to 25 mg in just two months as prescribed by my doctor. I haven t been taking that tablets at all since 20 days and I see no reaction. I plan to test my t3,t4, tsh when I complete a month of not taking the medicine. If the reports are normal, is it safe to stop taking the medicine for good?
