Is Dizziness Normal Post Use Of Anesthesia During Surgery?

Hello. I am a 60 yr. old man, 6'4", 250 lbs. I am in good health, although I am borderline hypertension with an ave. blood pressure of about 142/99 and a pulse of 73. I am asking this here because it is so hard to get a hold of my own surgeon. My question is, 7 days ago I had "scope" surgery (outpatient) on my left knee (my 1st ever surgery) to remove part of a torn meniscus. It went well. First in pre-op they gave me "versed" anesthesia and then a general anesthetic at surgery. My incisions are healing well. However, at times I experience a dizzy or "lightheaded" feeling. Is this normal 7 days after a surgery and how long can it go on? I am Pastor and also drive a school bus part-time so it is important to me. Thank you for any insight you can give. Also, I take a Dramamine pill when it happens, is there anything else I can do to correct it? Greg
