Is Drinking Cold Water During Pregnancy Not Recommended?

I feel comfortabale if i drink cold water or even eating ice cream or halo-halo. I m 8months pregnant.some says that it is not good drinking cold water because the baby inside the womb will become big. How true is this?even early morning just i wake up.
