Is Eardrum Surgery For A Punctured Eardrum Safe?

Hello Doctor, I want to ask you about the Eardrum Surgery, i have a hole in my left eardrum for almost 4 years and now the doctor decided to do the surgery - frankly - i'm little afraid to lose my hearing or failure in his operation as well how can i see a full surgery online i'm trying to see it as recorded but i can not find one online.
