Is Early Menopause Related With Erratic Periods And Blood Stained Mucus Discharge?

Hi I have had a slight blood stained mucas dischard from my vagina for about the last 5 days. I had a smear test about 2 months ago where everything was normal. My periods have been very erractic since 2008 and have been told that I am going through early menopause. Is this dischage normal or should I be worried.
