Is Enlarged Uterus Associated With Weight Gain And Irregular Periods?

I gained a lot of weight and had bad cycles. Then foun out I had a large uterus! They found a mass and then when returning it wasn t there but I had several cyst! The OB thinks the cyst were not big enough to operate on but because of painful cycles and weight of uterus in bladder , suggest hysterectomy. Do you think I could possibly loose some of the weight after my uterus is removed if it was part of the weight gain?
