Is Epidural Anesthesia Advisable During Abdominoplasty?

Hi, i am considering a tummy tuck following a triplet pregnancy three years' ago which has left me with muscle separation and lots of excess stretched skin. I have been told i would need an abdominoplasty procedure under general anaesthesia. Is an epidural ever an option for patients like me? Thanks.
