Is Fertility Medication Required During IUI Treatment?

i ovulate every month, i have done all of the required tests to start fertility treatments. my husbands sperm count is a little low, my periods are spaced anywhere between 24-35 (shortest-longest) cycles over the last 19 months. I take ovulation tests every month and have been getting positives about 14 days before my period begins. I am just wondering if I will need to use any fertility medications during IUI treatments?
