Is Flying Safe When Suffering From Hashimotos Disease?

I just got out of hospital diagnosed with hashimotos disease. TSH was 147. Started on synthroid 75 MCG daily on Tuesday. My grandmother is on hospice and lives 800 miles from me. Do you think it would be safe for me to fly to see her. She's not expected to !make it much longer.
