Is Folliculitis Related With Itchy Spots On Knee And Thigh?

hello doc. i think i have a case of folliculitis. i have spots from my thighs and knees up to my schoulders and they itch like nothing i have ever experienced. i have been to several doctors but other than rule out scabies fleas and other things they have not been able to help me. can it be that folliculitis itch this much?
