Is Frequent Nose Bleed Normal After Treatment For Nose Fracture?

Hello,. About two years ago my husband had fractured his nose in a surfing accident and he underwent surgery to clean the pieces of broken bones and cartlige and cauterize the vain or blood vessel that was causing the bleeding that wouldn't stop.Nearly two years have passed and he has a few nose bleeds . He had been to his ENT doctor and he said that he had symphisis a few times. My question is is frequent bleeding normal after a nasal fracture? He is worried and has been through a lot. He was hospitalized for 20 because the bleeding would not stop until he had surgery . Everytime his nose feels stuffy or needs to be cleaned it bleeds a little. Thank you in advance.
