Is Frequent Urination, Pelvic Pain With Swelling Normal?

Hello, Im 20 years old, I recently had my first child this past november2009 i had an energency C section. In the month of March i was put on birth control to trat an ovarian cyst ihad in my right pelvic area that was for 3 months. I writting becuase i know am having left pelvic pain. it feels swollen and im urinatingmore than usaul. what can it be?
