Is Having Bursitis Post Knee Replacement A Cause For Concern?

can you get a bursitis in one of the three bursa on the knee after total knee replacement. She was in auto accident and knee went into dashboard and was badly bruised. Pain was there, went away and came back even worse. Orthopedic thought it was a loosened implant, but now thinks is bursitis. No definite results from a ct scan.
