Is Heavy Flow During Periods After Having Sex For First Time Concerning?

Hi , I have been married for almost a month. This is my first period after marriage. I had regular sex with my husband after marriage, and took a contraceptive pill once. I am experiencing heavy flow for last 3 days. Is it normal ? Is there any thing alarming? What should I do?
