Is High Protein Level In Blood A Cause For Concern?

Hello, I recently had a medical abortion 4 weeks ago, everything went normal but this week I have been experiencing panic attacks so I went to the ER and they gave me a EKG and chest scan and said I have high protein levels in my blood but other than that everything is fine... Today my regular menstrual cycle came and I passed a quarter sized piece of gray tissue... Is that normal? Or could I be going through septic shock?
