Is Hysterectomy Advisable For Fibroids Having Low Estrogen Levels?

I have just been told I have fibroids I'm a 39 year old woman but at the same time I've been told I have low oestrogen levels, my consultant is pushing for me to have a hysterectomy? Is that the right thing todo? I do not wish to have any more children.
