Is Impetigo A Contagious Disease?

Hi my names Sharon, i have a 6 yr old daughter called Tamara who has been in contact with a person that as impetigo. tamara was in contact with this person Sunday just gone and this person found he was diagnosed with it yesterday. Although Tamara doesnt have any symptoms, i was wondering if i should take her to the doctors.
