Is Infection Possible In Frenulum Of Labia And Perineum?

Hi. Is it possible to have an infection in the frenulum of the labia and perineum? And what should I do? I did go to a dr but he hardly checked and then said its a herpes infection. He gave me antivirals and antibiotics which I've been using for 4 days now but haven't relief. I have trouble passing stool and urine due to pain as a result of rawness.
