Is It Actually Safe To Use Vaginal Wipes And Soaps

Is it actually safe to use vaginal wipes and soaps that have a particular scent to them? Even if they say they're PH balanced just for your vaginal area? If not, what should I use down there because I seem to have a certain scent although I don't really like it.
