Is It Advisable For A Dependent Personality Disorder To Get Married?

Can a person with dependent personality disorder be successful in marriage without the mate understanding the disorder. Given the pressures of marriage would they easily seek support outside the marriage when disagreements occur if that support were available? Such support if of the opposite sex could take advantage of the situation for their own gain.
