Is It Advisable To Be On BP Medications While Breast Feeding?

I just had my baby via c-section (1 month ago). My blood pressure has been high 153/104. I also had a root canal done recently, maybe thats why it might be so high. My high blood pressure medication was changed during my pregnancy and I am breastfeeding my baby. Any recommendations?
